About the Role

Join our boutique data consultancy as a Business Intelligence Consultant where you’ll work on BI projects across various industries and markets. Your primary focus in this role will be training clients on new BI tools via training presentations and co-development sessions. This may also be paired with longer client engagements for migrations between BI tools or in working deeper in the stack such as with DBT, Snowflake, Bigquery, Astronomer, etc. There will be lots of opportunities to grow based on your interests. We encourage certifications, training, and shadowing opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Train clients on BI Tools

  • Host co-dev sessions and ad hoc troubleshooting workshops

  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data

  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards

  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with senior data engineers and architects on project delivery

  • Support data quality initiatives and validation processes

  • Stay up to date with product offerings and latest industry trends

Required Skills

  • 1 - 2 years of hands on BI experience with a semantic tool (Omni, Looker, Cube)

  • Strong SQL proficiency

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working in a client-facing, consulting environment

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with modern BI tools (Omni, Looker preferred)

  • Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt

  • Healthcare data experience

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000
